As well as the alpine scenery, towering peaks, fresh air, beautiful & mindful long walks and lovely locals, I look forward with joy on my summer holiday to 2 weeks of sitting outside a local bar each evening with tired legs, a beer & my Kindle, immersing myself in book after book to the soundtrack of happy chattering, church bells & birds singing as the sun goes down.
