Spring.
An illustration out of my short comics story 'not in my backyard' published last year as a part of 'Picturing the Unimaginable', a group project which came out in book form as well as a traveling exhibition.
'Not in my backyard' takes place in 1938, as the Dutch government is in the process of building a central refugee camp for German Jewish refugees fleeing the Nazi regime. The process is ugly, xenophobic, and full of fear and disrespect for 'the other'. Some things never change.

I made this editorial illustration a couple of years ago for the anarchist magazine Buiten de Orde. Still quite pleased with it.
I dont know about you, but i have personally really had it with the patriarchy, with capitalism and with rising fascism.
