FWIW... Somehow I came across this post and immediately thought "this could be me!" .... VERY similar experience & reaction.

I agree, "fair is fair" and I was VERY happy with the replacement A/C company, the pricing, installers, contract etc.
Now a test.

I got a call, "no AC!" and 90℉ +.

Long distance got them out in a day, "no charge" but... the capacitor NOT covered by warranty, & $300-ish to replace! I also looked at net prices. 😱 Plus got a surge protector. #IIWII Keep cool!

You're quite right about the general "horse race" paradigm, and of course polls are notoriously fluid "snapshots" and also the sampling is not necessarily as "representative" as might be claimed, or hoped.

As for #sanewashing ... yeah, too little correction or acknowledgment from some, like the curiously "weird" New York Times of late. Wondering what is going on there, but... #IIWII

So those who, say, have seen relatives lost or otherwise profoundly affected by the slaughter in Gaza and who wonder why Biden should have their support are dumbfucks?

This is exactly the kind of strident and frankly racist outlook that will leave them sitting at home.

That’s just reality. The man is loaded with baggage, like it or not, and conspiracy or not, he left himself wide open to the media drubbing he’s taken from his debate failure.
