π¦βοΈ When temperatures in #Florida drop below 7ΒΊC (45Β°F), invasive green #iguanas undergo a strange transformation. As cold-blooded #animals, their bodies essentially "freeze" in place to protect their hearts and brains.
They lose their grip on tree branches and tumble to the ground in a state of suspended animation β usually waking back up as soon as the sun comes out.
