Okay, it's not my window. This was from Ightham Mote, a medieval manor house with courtyard and moat, which we visited in 2014 on our way back after a short break in Kent.

#Fensterfreitag aus dem Archiv: Das mittelalterliche Herrenhaus in #IghthamMote /Kent wurde 1965 dem National Trust überlassen und zwischen 1989 und 2004 aufwendig saniert. Dabei wurde das Gebäude weitgehend demontiert, sorgfältig dokumentiert und anschließend wiederhergestellt - inklusiver windschiefer Gaupen.

It's #ThickTrunkTuesday so here's a #tree in the grounds of Ightham Mote Manor House in #Kent. Ightham Mote is a moated, courtyard manor house with origins dating back to the middle of the 14th century, and is almost unchanged architecturally from that original build. As you can tell, it's possible to climb the stairs of one of the towers for some great views.
