🇮🇸 Northern Lights 🌌

On our 3rd day in Iceland, at Snæfellsnes, we got lucky: no clouds and a good aurora forecast. We headed out at around 9:45pm and quickly saw a faint greyish haze to the north. It quickly became more vivid and intense and we stayed outside almost two hours, marvelling at the sight. A very impressive experience!

While staying at and driving around Snæfellsnes of course we had to stop near Kirkjufell.
And the frozen falls of Kirkjufellsfoss offered some very cool photo opportunities.
