I dug out my old family PS/1 just to find out that I am locked by my old self that apparently had some fun with TurboPascal ...

So more than 25 years later I need to search the internet to find how to bypass Autoexec.bat. I just needed to press F5 when DOS starts and i was able to edit the 'protection' out.

Quite fun to start the restoration by hacking my old self and exciting to see that the disk still works!

The IBM PS/1 cleaned up nicely!

It’s 30MB RLL HDD still works fine and has its original software

Except it’s missing it’s front face plate 🫤

If anyone has a spare faceplate for an IBM PS/1 Model 2011, please let me know. Or even if you know where one could be found! I’d love to make this fella whole again
