Very often we don't know either. #MayIp would make playlists we'd rehearse, then not play any of them onstage. #SunRa did the same and called out (conduction) arrangement swaps on the fly. Nolan often emails a new #iReal between sets.
What comes next often depends on the audience.

The sad tale is that my main two uses are to share very large files within the building (so why send to California and back! π) and to send #iReal playlists via chat. For the past year, I save it to nc, it saves as HTML, get the share link with my phone app, paste to the gig chat, they click and are asked "open in iReal?" Done.
With NC 29.0.6, they click, it jumps to browser showing some HTML, download button fetches useless txt render.
Nope, I mapped text/html to "file" and same behaviour. Perhaps in the Text plugin itself?
Before, an html-file link on Messenger responds asking to open in iReal, ie delivered as a download. In that screenshot, it is text. This happened last year and there was a fix, but I don't recall what it is! Somewhere is a #Nextcloud setting to say 'html' is NOT text, but mimetypealiases.json isn't it?

So to answer: the webapp and official NC mobile apps work fine, login, click, it downloads. But on either, clicking on a shared link does not.

Another #nextcloud fail last night. A last-minute call, I cobbled a rush #iReal setlist, sent the NC link via messenger.
Here's what happened: they click the link, see raw HTML code. WTF?? They panic, bandleader says, "Email it to me, I will forward."
Email. Email, by far less confusing, easy and seamless: clicking the attachment simply summons iReal to import the file.
I will never convince them to use Nextcloud. Even fileshares just show as my hostname with not a shred of details. Ugh.

Any good #Android or #ubuntustudio apps for storing lyrics? Something with a decent editor where I can sort and search by title and export playlists to be printed and read on a phone. Like #iReal, but for lyrics βΊοΈ

In our use-case, each gig has a 'room' for only those band members on that gig, mostly text and #iReal files, occasional score pdf and done a/v very rarely because musicians (ie it is five am when we get home and we are trying to be quiet)
I haven't used jabber in ages. Wasn't FB messenger originally xmpp?
