Okay! I opted for the Daily instead of Stable Build and finally got it on my device after several attempts. I found potential workaround for what to do if my windows rejects the device again. My latest MusicBee sync also came through as playable! Will take some time to think about putting podcasts on here, if at all, and learning more about the Rockbox config options : D

Yesterday, I installed an iFlash Solo SSD and new battery into my iPod Classic 6th Gen. The suggestion is to format to FAT32 in advance, but turns out that the iPod restore will do that automatically. I've been stuck in a cycle of my device either rejecting the format or saying my device needs to be repaired. I did at one point get Rockbox with @dook 's Themify theme going. I haven't gone as far as getting music that I synced from MusicBee to play yet, it just skips the tracks endlessly. I was surprised that MusicBee uses the iTunes API, so if I want to remove iTunes, I'll have to consider switching to foobar.

Mi iPod Classic sigue vivo

Llevo un iPod Classic de 160GB en una alforja. Es el segundo que tengo a lo largo de los años. El primero se me rompió, aunque aún lo conservo en alguna caja esperando el día que me decida a repararlo. Ambos los compré de segunda mano en excelente estado, varios años más tarde de su lanzamiento y a buen precio, algo así como una cuarta parte de su precio original.

@Mastokarl Wie blöd. Bei mir hält’s bisher. Die Dinger schalten zügig ein, kein LED-Flackern, keine Ladeprobleme und auf dem Weg zur Mülltonne neuerdings stabile Bluetooth-Verbindung. Aber ich notiere vorsorglich mal „B&W“ 😃 Schade eigentlich, dass #Sennheiser bei den #TW4 da so patzt. Meine anderen Buds an einem #iPodClassic sind #IE600 – die sind 👍🪐
