Okay nach knapp ner Woche kann ich nun echt sagen: iPhanpy auf dem iPhone zu nutzen anstatt Phanpy als PWA funktioniert um einiges besser!

Finally have found the time to give iPhanpy a shot on my iPhone. I am using Phanpy as PWA for quite some time now but it has it caveats, sometimes not loading avatars or failing to pla media. Hope thats better with iPhanpy. Anyway: thanks for the app Matt!

更新后的iPhanpy可以登录自托管的GoToSocial、Pixelfed

iPhanpy has been tested and confirmed to work with self-hosted Mastodon instances and Sharkey.
The updated iPhanpy can now log in to self-hosted GoToSocial and Pixelfed instances.

The iPhanpy app downloaded from the Mac App Store can log in to Selfhost's Mastodon and Sharkey (GoToSocial still doesn't work); however, strangely, it opens three browser authentication pages at once.

Ich teste gerade die TestFlight-Version von #iPhanpy und bin erstmal einigermaßen begeistert.
Das Threading (bei den meisten anderen Clients eher Grütze) ist Sahne und die sonstige Bedienung ist intuitiv.

Wenn das so bleibt, habe ich vielleicht bald einen neuen Lieblingsclient.

Using #iPhanpy on my iPhone 17 Pro. Had a slight issue with Ruby versions but then I installed a version manager and everything built successfully. Excited to use this more because while the PWA was decent, this is even better.
