Well #PasswordManagers were not as secure as we all thought.
All Password Managers that use a browser add-on/plugin for auto-fill functionality are susceptible to #ClickJacking security vulnerabilities that could be exploited to steal account credentials.

Apple dodaje wsparcie dla Firefox w iCloud Passwords na Windows

Apple oficjalnie dodało obsługę przeglądarki Firefox w aplikacji iCloud dla Windows, umożliwiając użytkownikom automatyczne uzupełnianie haseł z iCloud także w tej przeglądarce.

Do tej pory funkcja działała wyłącznie w Chrome i Microsoft Edge.

Chociaż rozszerzenie iCloud Passwords dla Firefox było dostępne w sklepie Mozilla Add-ons od miesięcy, nie działało ono poprawnie w systemie Windows – aż do teraz. Nowa aktualizacja pozwala na bezpośredni dostęp do zapisanych haseł i automatyczne logowanie się w Firefoxie.

Aby funkcja działała, nadal wymagane jest zainstalowanie aplikacji iCloud z Microsoft Store. Warto też zauważyć, że może być to funkcja dostępna wyłącznie dla użytkowników Windows 11 – osoby korzystające z Windows 10 zgłaszają brak tej opcji.

Jeśli używasz Firefoxa na Windows 11 i przechowujesz swoje hasła w iCloud, teraz możesz w pełni korzystać z autofill bez konieczności przechodzenia na Chrome lub Edge.
