PSA: Don't wait on magnet links forever in #I2PSnark.

Currently an issue with maximal communication sizes between peers means that some chunk sizes will result in magnets being impossible to resolve into torrents via peer communications.

You will need to first resolve the torrent via some other program.

Yes, and please torrent over #I2P because clearnet is a surveillance system. The more traffic we put into the peer-to-peer I2P network, the better.

We prefer #I2PSnark or #BiglyBT.

In our opinion, #I2P is the only internet that should be used for most everything, but especially #torrenting.

Es gibt mit I2P noch mehr Darknets abseits des Tor-Netzwerks. Version 1.7.0 dient vor allem einer besseren Leistung und Zuverlässigkeit.

Great question. One thing you'll notice fairly quickly is that #I2P makes everyone a #fullNode basically out of the box, this makes it more decentralised. With Tor a person needs to go out of their way to become a relay.

Second major difference is I2P is not designed to access the clearnet at all (strictly speaking you can via an I2P service), but #eepsites instead. Eg. site.i2p. It doesn't replace Tor, per se.

Third, it love traffic and #torrenting via #I2PSnark and other clients.

As a way to dilute the power of the #universities as repositories, we advocate sharing #freeSoftware over #I2PSnark (the torrent system that works over #I2P.

Of course, include the signed signatures etc.

We need to do whatever we can to diminish the importance of universities, they are becoming far to aggressive in courting the #corporateState for #funding. This includes pandering to #BigTech and #BigRealEstate.
