A new landscape from me, the eastern part of Norway. It is a more quiet landscape, and drier than the western part, which is more dramatic with its deep fjords and tall mountains, but also more rainy and windy with all the weather coming from the North Sea, from Greenland, from Alaska. .

Sometimes I can get really fed up by the wind here in the west, it claws at me, eating my soul, and I rather wish for still coldness and snow. Like they have in the east.

Home, sweet home 🥰 After a 12h drive I’m at my Swedish torp, and will stay here some days. But, should I lift off the winter windows? Next time I’ll be here, is September and I will have to place them back again. Nope, I think I will leave them in this summer.
A Palestinian colleague once told me his observation about Norwegians. We, Norwegians, love our cottage because that is the only place we can drink alcohol without feeling bad about drinking alcohol.
