once i figure out the "best" way to do battery backup for it, i want to get a larger-scale hydroponic setup for my backyard so i can start producing home-grown home-made fermented hot sauces at scale.

The size of a system I'm looking at would consume under 30w for the various pumps; maybe DC-powered pumps (eg for RVs) + car battery + solar panel is the play? anyone on fediverse know electronics ?

Mint from my indoor hydroponic.

They were going crazy tall so I cut some. Don't have much use for them and don't like this type of mint that much (it has a special taste), so I guess I just get rid of them.

Dieses Jahr mal ein kleiner Hydroponic-Testlauf... mal seh'n, wie das klappt. Die #FronteraSweet ist gestern in einen grünen 10l Eimer umgezogen. Netztopf mit Blähton gefüllt und Wasser etwas gedüngt mit Hakaphos Naranja.

We’re on about day 5 or 6 after the hatch chili seed planting in the hydroponic garden. Sprouting should happen in 7-14 days … so we’re still in the “be patient” period!

Starting a new experiment in the #hydroponic #garden: hatch #chili plants. I doubt this will work, but I sure do miss those chilis.

#Garden plans made, going into my raised beds: potatoes, parsnips, beetroot, celeriac, sweetcorn, tomatoes and Brussel sprouts. I was going to try courgettes in some pots due to space.

Also thinking of doing a #hydroponic experiment again this year, last year I tried #aeroponics but might try a hydroponic wall with lettuce etc.
