A junior professor chair in #hydrogeophysics could be opened this year by INRAE within the EMMAH research unit in Avignon, France. This chair is aimed at PhDs with a few years of post-doctoral experience (>6) and who have a habilitation to direct research (HDR, which a french university diploma allowing people to supervise PHD) or are likely to have one within the next three years. The proposed contract is for 3 years, with the prospect to get a permanent position as a 2nd class Research Director at the end of this period. The person recruited will be required to give 60 hours of lectures at Avignon University in the Physics and #Hydrogeology departments. The contract will be supported by thesis grants and a functioning and equipment budget.
