Dawson’s say they are proud to already operate a growing number of hybrid vehicles within our fleet, with electric models set to join later this year. Trialling hydrogen technology adds another forward-thinking option to its sustainable transport strategy.

It’s possible to buy the Mirai in SoCal preowned for less than the value of the hydrogen fuel credit, but…
1) Once the fuel credit runs out, hydrogen is VERY expensive.
2) The stations frequently run out of hydrogen, apparently, so your Mirai is a brick until they refuel.
3) There aren’t many stations!
4) Has nobody figured out yet that going to the gas (hydrogen) station is NOT a fun experience?!
The MES TimesNamX, in collaboration with Pininfarina, is addressing the lithium shortage and hydrogen fueling infrastructure challenges with its innovative "Hydrogen Utility Vehicle" (HUV), set to debut by 2026. The HUV utilizes removable hydrogen cartridges for fuel, offering a solution for areas lacking hydrogen stations. Each cartridge provides approximately 150 km (93 miles) of driving range, with the HUV accommodating six cartridges for a total range of 800 km (~500 miles).
