having done this three times now the timeline was always the same

until a week before i was excited

then it was sort of “oh crap this is so soon”

a day before i get kinda nervous and question ever signing up for it

the night before i’m then somewhat excited and calmer

the morning of the event i’m very focused but nervous

afterwards i’m always happy and looking forward to the next one to beat my time again 🫣

this time i was somehow a lot more nervous before the race, even though it’s supposed to be fun 😬

the mental part of keeping going during training and races is just as important to get somewhere 🏃🏻‍♂️

#hyrox no #3 done and dusted – wasn’t sure whether i could beat my PB from last time and ended up 6:01min faster at 1:19:46 💪🏼

pacing myself in the beginning and going easy on the first few runs and stations REALLY paid off. the sled also didn’t threw me off like last time. once the burpees were done it even started to become a little bit of fun towards the end 🙃
