Once again I find myself in a "hurry up and wait" situation.
We're supposed to be getting a house battery installed. In preparation, I actually forced the server rack to charge the batteries overnight (it finished at 04:00) because yesterday was a crap day for solar. The sparkies are supposed to be here at 10:00AM.
It is now 12:02PM… just got a text message that they're now on their way here.
The plan is that we'll be decommissioning the ~2 year old solar inverter and re-routing the power from the mains panels to the new inverter on the battery. We'll also be installing a new circuit for the laundry, which will take the two biggest loads (washing machine and dryer) off of GP1 where the fridge will ultimately go once painting finishes.
There's a spare CT currently unused in the power board… and I've got three more in a box. Programming the meter will take only a moment (CET's PMCSetup works fine in WINE).
This is the calm before the storm.
