Commission for a family friend. The colour palette was a challenge: purple on green. I think I pulled it off, though the medium did not quite allow me to do as vibrant a purple as I maybe could have, to further the challenge. With paint or paint pens, I think I could do better these days.

An actual, physical drawing, pencil on paper. It almost feels... ancient? to draw like that. Connecting with past generations. Especially since I sat in a dimly lit room while drawing. So I couldn't even see the lines properly. But I enjoyed it. The sound and feel of graphite on mushed up wood fibers.

I'm going to paint with oils on top of this. Whenever I get to it.
