So, I’ve got a win-win plan for some of my leftover seeds. I’m gonna germinate them and plant them for wildlife right outside of the fence of my community garden plot.

Cottontails LOVE green bean and okra plants just as much as kale. 🐰

I’ll “sow” the squash/pumpkin/etc seeds for other small creatures to harvest. 🐹🐭

Three wasp houses for paperWasps now. We’ll see how they do.

This spring, two more queen wasps made their nest inside of the plastic storage bench. But the surface is too slick for their nest to stay attached when they get too big to support the weight. I’ve carefully attached their nests to two new waspHouses last week while the weather was still cool.

Today at the community garden, a fellow gardener told us that she carefully moved the cottontail nest (with babies) in her plot to right outside in a plastic pot. Please pray for the poor cottontail mom who now has to find her babies and move them to a safer place.

We also have a cottontail nest in our plot. We just let them use our plot as a safe nursery. They’ve been nesting in our plot every year, we know the drill. We run a #humaneGarden.

The baby cottontail buns are growing up fast in the herb bed in my community garden plot. 🥹🥰💕🐰✨ They were out of the nest, and we got a glimpse of them this evening!
By the way, their mom is always lurking nearby.
