Third sunrise this week. Lots of wildfire smoke in the atmosphere right now (unfortunately) plus a lot of haze and humid air looking out over the Atlantic, which combined to obscure a lot of light. It was my daughter's first time accompanying me for a sunrise, so we tried to make the most of it and still got a few decent photos.

Not the most photogenic morning. The weather is almost too good. But I was up early and it is a beautiful cool clear morning. Perfect for an early morning outing. I even managed to get to the summit while it was still dark enough to enjoy the conjunction of Mars and Jupiter. Closest approach is Wednesday. That moment that the sun first peeks over the horizon is magical. It never get old.
