Made a weeknote specific Atom feed, Hugo list and archetype templates. Can't wait to start writing those soon after the setup is done; just ironing out the last details...

Finally migrated my personal website (powered by #HugoSSG) from #GitLab to #Codeberg. Including #CI via #ForgejoActions and hosting via #CodebergPages. Jobs are running on the local #homelab server.

There are jobs for building and deploying the website and for updating the contribution data through #contripy.

So far this has been very smooth and straightforward. Though I still need to learn the new CI workflow syntax as I'm used to GitLab from the daytime job.

Really happy I'm adding more functionality to my tech blog: integrated Mastodon comments! Here's a preview of how it looks after some layout mods.

As a #CSS amateur, I've always just hard coded my colours the traditional way. While working on a light and dark theme switcher on my Hugo blog, I learnt the proper way to do it using the var() function and defining a css variables, e.g. `var(--light-blue)`. I can easily and happily change colours in my theme in the future!

Plus, I get to clean up my custom.css file which got ugly quick from all the random customizations I've been making.

In an interdisciplinary Masters-level class at RWTH Aachen, I taught construction, architecture, mechanical and other students how to clone and run Python/NodeJS repositories from GitHub.
