According to some sections in #US and #Israel, under the guise of #JCPOA #Iran armed and instigated their proxies, like #Houthis, #Hamas and #Hezbollah. Those same sections also claim that #JCPOA was flawed because it did not put an end to enrichment of uranium by #Iran, did not stop #missiles development by #Iran and did not stop other destabilizing actions by #Iran.
Not saying that they were right or wrong.
@GeoWire Will shifting of trade routes to #RedSea help customers of Gulf nations in Indian Ocean Region, East Africa, Asia and Pacific? Doubtful as long as #Houthis remain in Western Yemen. Maybe the time has come to build a bypass to Strait of #Hormuz. Either a artificial canal built in #Oman or #UAE or both. A rail corridor, road highway, oil pipeline and gas corridor from Saudi to ports in East Yemen would also be required.
