I have my moving date: 13th May
This means I will be off work from the 30th of April until I've recovered and got settled.
In the meantime I have to be careful with cash. It's another long-distance move and is going to cost me a lot because of that.
For the first time ever, because of my health, I'm hiring a removal company rather than a van. Expensive but necessary so I can take the least amount of time off work.
Obviously old #decor can be redone and better that, if the #house isnβt already at the top of the budget, than endless monochrome (I judge, but Iβm in heaven when I see magnolia and cream π) Depends on my mood when I look, how well I can visualise a place in my taste. Old and shabby, a damn mess, or stuff I just hate like football, #alcohol and British flag merch, it puts me off.
We still donβt have a washing machine at the new house but it transpires there is a network of roadside washing machines that you can just drive up to, load your washing and then go do something else and they will txt you when theyβve finished. Welcome to the future or something.
The special power cable that brings electricity to my external monitor is AWOL. And itβs not one of those βstandardβ cable also. Dang!
