Het verhaal van The Housemaid wordt bewerkt tot een toneelstuk. Dat maakt Lionsgate dinsdag bekend. De productie betekent een uitbreiding van de The Housemaid-reeks. In 2025 verscheen de eerste film en de studio heeft een vervolgfilm aangekondigd voor 2027.
