The BirdHot Water problems may finally be fixed after 2.5 weeks of no hot water. The last tech got the pilot light on but didn't check if it'd STAY on after the tank got used. That was the problem. So next tech came and replaced a part. And now I get to test if it works over the next few days. Younger sister and some mutual aid folks helped fund this.
Cost less to replace the component than get a new heater.
