Is this a witch? Maybe. Is this witch on a train? Perhaps. What we can be sure of is that there's someone with some suspicious hot liquid and a cat. Why do I feel like I have drawn redheads with suspicious liquids before..? Is that a thing?

After getting a new coffee grinder and nerding down into coffee (again) I thought about my ratio for french press. My old grinder took two and a half scoops so I used that to make a cup (half litre). Today I weighed out the beans just for fun.

20g beans to 550ml of water. A ratio of less than 1:25, or half as much as "optimal".

Now I have to test the optimal ratio...
