To clarify, I don't track my yearly progress or my finish times, the Hot Chocolate 5k for me is just a fun thing to do to get steps and spend time with my friend Melissa every year!!

#KubeCon 2023 is over and so tomorrow it's back home to Europe into the mountains of Tyrol/Austria.

After the #HotChocolateRun on Sunday, I wanted to go for a final 10km run in the city and what can I say: #Chicago is really amazing!

There is so much to see in the city, so many museums and the incredible architecture!!!! And, as a fussy European, the food and restaurants were exceptionally good. What a city!

Has any of you participated in the event and is it worth it? Also, I'm not sure I won't be overwhelmed by the 20K other runners as I'm mainly a trail runner 🙈
