A ★★★ review of Interview with the Vampire (1994)

Tiny Kirsten Dunst is scarier than Antonio Brad Tom and Stephen Rea combined. Brad Pitt apparently told EW he had a miserable time making this and tried to buy himself out but that it would cost too much. Not as miserable a time as I did listening to Pitt whine like a little bitch for 2 hours Production design over everything else. Fun Fact- the 7 foot high platform shoes Tom Cruise wore were played by Jesse Plemons. Time is a flat circle.

A ★★★ review of Marshmallow (2025)

So the movie's only black guy is named...Franklin? Overly familiar setup lulls you into a sense of knowing where everything will lead...until it doesn't. You admire the attempt at something different even if it's not entirely successful (thanks, third act exposition dump!) . Scattershot gore and kids in danger makes this worth a watch with some hot cocoa.

I have just seen Obsession.

The only film I physically felt a little dizzy because of the tension of a slow scene. It was sooo good, and has been inspiring for me.

(“Verdict?” is the scene, in case anyone wonders. And no, this is not a spoiler)
