Major UK wind power project Hornsea 4 is shelved.

Developers have pulled the plug on one of the UK’s biggest offshore wind projects.

Danish renewables firm Ørsted said its decision to “discontinue” the 2.4 GW Hornsea 4 wind farm “in its current form” was a result of rising supply chain costs and higher interest rates.

A government spokesperson said the government would “work with Ørsted to get Hornsea 4 back on track”.

Finally got back into my account! To celebrate, here's some #victorian building fancying; a lovely #train station in #Hornsea, now the starting point (or end point!) of the Hull to Hornsea Rail Trail, following the line of the former railway here.

The building is a fine brick station, now sympathetically converted into housing. It was designed by Rawlins Gould and opened in 1864 to a popular, but calmer alternative to other #Yorkshire coastal towns.
