Fermented Friday – Winking Lizard Tavern

I had the chance to get some world tour beers tonight. Instead, I went with a local brewery, Hoppin’ Frog.

What, it’s dessert again? If I have to, I guess.

Chewy creamy chocolate and molasses body with a lasting spicy chili finish.

Chilly again, back to real winter at 10F. Time to warm up in the sun.

That’s a spicy frog! Peppers start with a kick and mellow into a sweet and caramelly body with a boozy finish. Warmed me up!

This month’s visit to Winking Lizard brought home excellent bourbon street steaks after enjoying excellent beers.

The aroma is so laden with alcohol that it made me check the can again to ensure that this was not cask aged.
