Made a major food discovery. I've been eating HoneyCrisp apples for years BUT...
Recently I discovered the CRIMSON CRISP apple and let me tell ya, it is WONDERFUL.
It's crunchy and tart and meaty and delicious! Smooth and without the heavy fibre feeling of a Red Delicious but more appley than a HoneyCrisp.
I'll still switch it up and jump back into HoneyCrisp from time to time. But it's nice to have an equal alternative.
I just wanted to share this small joy with you today.
I guess literally every other apple is less sad about being alive than #Honeycrisp.

An interesting bummer of an article about the once queen of apples, the #Honeycrisp. I noticed this change in flavor & texture a few years ago -- mealy, not so tasty honeycrisps -- and switched over to my new fave, #SugarBee. I hope this doesn't happen to it, too!
