Les oiseaux sont des trolls : certaines journées, on peut rester des heures à essayer de les photographier sans en voir un seul ; d'autres ils sont partout et se moquent d'être proches des humain'es. Généralement ce sont les jours où on n'a pas pris l'appareil photo. Manque de pot pour cette bondrée apivore, j'ai presque toujours un appareil sur moi.

Look who came to check us out the other day, a European honey buzzard, from the relative safety of one of our oak trees, peering into our living room, from where the photo was taken. This is the first time I've seen one at home. Makes me rather pleased that I didn't go on a killing spree of all the hornets and ground wasps that fly around the house and come down the chimney looking for somewhere to make their nests.
