I wasn't ‘into’ Tati when I saw these Lynch movies, so I had not noticed this at the time, but for sure it's a pleasant discovery.

David Lynch has a couple of homages to Tati’s ‘Mon Oncle’ in his films.

From ‘Wild at Heart’ (the middle picture) and ‘Mulholland Drive’ (bottom).

Zo ook striptekenaar #Merho die een bewonderaar is van Tati's werk. Dat merk je ook duidelijk aan de vele #hommages in diverse #strips.
Zoals hier het Hulot huis uit #mononcle. ❤️
