Si la lignée humaine est apparue en Afrique, l’occupation du territoire eurasiatique s’est faite relativement précocement, comme en témoignent certains sites archéologiques. Il reste cependant difficile d'établir quand exactement sont arrivés les premiers Hominini sur ces terres du nord. Grâce à des ossements découverts en Roumanie, des chercheurs estiment désormais que cette présence daterait d’au moins 1,95 million d’années !

This #longThread uses the adjective #human to refer to any species of the tribe #Hominini that is not chimpanzee or bonobo.

Some characteristics that have distinguished such "human" individuals from other primates, living and extinct, include their erect posture, bipedal locomotion, larger brains.
