We'd love some advice from homeschoolers on Mastodon:

Our resources for teaching with films are free for everyone, and several of the films are available to stream for free as well. We would love to connect with homeschoolers here but we haven't found the hashtags yet that make that happen.

If you are a homeschooler, could you please recommend hashtags that are used in the homeschooling community? We'd really appreciate your help. Thank you!

i used the hashtag "want to connect with unschoolers".
#不登校さんと繋がりたい

no corresponding subtwt in english fsr.
#unschoolers #unschooling #homeschoolers #homeschooling #schoolrefusal #schoolavoidance #schoolanxiety

a lot of #christofascist #evangelical #homeschoolers are starved by their parents until they "earn their keep" with domestic, sometimes farming and trades labor. these are not chores but full domestic jobs.

this is why #Arkansas was the first state during the #pandemic to undo #childAbuse and #childLabor laws. lots of homeschoolers.

now #Florida is next.

but the next step? coerce public school kids to work for their #schoolMeals; and eventually "education".

A proposed GOP bill to loosen child labor laws in Florida is part of a national trend of repealing or weakening protections in place for generations.
