Hops are measured out and yeast is warming up. Using a total of 228 grams (8 ounces) of EKG (East Kent Goldings)hops and 44 grams (1.6 ounces) of Escarpment Labs (Guelph Ontario) house ale yeast. Never used this strain before, hoping for great results like I get with the liquid yeast I get from them.

Pooling and drinking. Long weekends were made for this. Having At the Märzen of Madness and listening to SiriusXM lithium while floating. #beer #CraftBeer #homebrewingexperience #homebrewing #craftbrewing
First pull of At the Märzen of Madness. Nice flavor and aroma with just the right amount of bittering. Head retention is a bit weak, but other than that it's damned fine. There's a 1/2 barrel of it so it'll be on tap for a while.
Fermented 3 weeks, lagered for 3.5 months, keg conditioned for 2 additional months. This is time well spent. #Beer #CraftBeer #craftbrewing #homebrewing #homebrewingexperience

Firing up Brewthulhu for a new batch this weekend. Calling it FA&FO because it's made with all the left over grains and hops I want to use up. Pilsner, Carapils, and Crystal 40 malts, Perle, Saaz, Hallertau hops, and a blend of Burton and Omega English ale yeasts. To paraphrase Dom from The Fast and the Furious "I live my life 1 quarter barrel at a time"
