Etir-2 turns the USB audio you’re stuck with into AES3, SPDIF, or TOSlink. The serial bit stream is reclocked and each feed is regenerated from the retimed and the waveform trued up for proper clock recovery in the DAC. Each output receives the source bit stream at the source bit rate.

É um modelo HCD-BX20i de 2008, com dock station de 30 pinos para iPod e iPhones até o modelo 4S. Tambeḿ tem entrada auxiliar P2.
Além de CDs de música comuns, lê CD-R / RW com arquivos .mp3, mostrando os nomes das faixas no display. A qualidade do som é excelente.
O que mais me chamou a atenção nele foi o design minimalista, bem diferente do meu antigo Panasonic AK-200, todo espalhafatoso que parecia um Autobot.
PS: uma grata surpresa é que ele "ressuscitou" meu iPod Touch 2G que não ligava mais de jeito nenhum, com parte da minha biblioteca musical nele. Depois, postarei na resposta fotos dos testes com meus outros aparelhos velhos e se ainda consigo aproveitar alguma coisa deles.
