@arduino So I played with it for a while on #AppleHome and decided to give #HomeAssistant another try. And I even almost bought a #HomeAssistantYellow.

Luckily I didn't, because, man, it's so overcomplicated... I mean @homeassistant is doing amazing job sorting all the mess, but I couldn't either get #TVOC or #eCO2 displayed from my DIY AQI meter, nor did I manage to automate this water heater. It works well manually, but nothing happens when I run the script... So it's a 4th pause for now...

Anyone out there with a #HomeAssistant Yellow who has already upgraded to HassOS 16.x?

I am hesitant to upgrade because I have read some negative reports about failed upgrades and faulty installations.

Does anyone also have the problem that no temperature update is received from the Hue Indoor Motion Sensor? I am experiencing this problem since the last update of HA 2024.1.2. This applies to all my indoor Hue sensors.
The Hue Outdoor Motions sensor works well.

Today 22 automation flows in Home Assistant reduced to 1 combined flow. @homeassistant super nice to make automations with. The possibilities are endless. πŸ₯°πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Not even done with all the moving and renovating, but I just ordered a #homeassistantyellow unit (including my like 5th #raspberrypi, but first #CM4 ) to start experimenting with @homeassistant and #HomeAutomation in general. It's my first time living in a non-rented home after all...

Old meets new. Both are working fine, although one of them needed a tightened spring in its rotary dial. Surprisingly only because the telephone router has tighter tolerances nowadays.
