Ich habe mir zum Testen einen Home Assistant Voice für meinen HA Green gekauft.

Die Sprachmodelle, die auf einem Green laufen (tiny und base), sind super langsam und verstehen die einfachsten Wörter nicht auf Deutsch.

Auf eine Cloud-Anbindung habe ich eigentlich keine Lust, auch wenn sie von dem HA-Projekt kommt.

Angeblich kann man die Modelle auch auf einem lokalen PC installieren, der dann ein STT-Backend für den HA Green bereitstellt.

FRAGE: Hat jemand von euch das schon mal ausprobiert und wird die Erkennung dann wirklich besser?

Today #homeassistant Voice got a new #3dprinted shell. Turned out quite nicely with PLA Copper Brown and basic black. #homeassistantvoice now fits my office desk much better. 😌 #3dprinting #bambulab

Welp, just successfully turned off my lights hands-free, while in bed, using the Home Assistant Voice Preview Edition. That means it's like 30% of the way there of replacing my Echo Spot, for me at least. The remaining 70% is largely replaceable by a regular-ass clock and some sentence-triggered automations.

So I got this working, using a choose block as you suggested - and a YAML template block. It seems weird to me though that there doesn't seem to be ANY way of getting an Assist question to take some kind of action on an answer without programming it in YAML.

Yes, I know YAML is wonderful and everyone should want to be a programmer, but for an org stating they want to make more possible with the built in GUI, it seems odd to launch a major new end user feature and not even mention that there is no alternative to use it but YAML?! Even in the docs.

Why isn't there just an action chooser in each answer, with "Add sentence"? Why is putting an action to an answer 3 levels deep in the GUI+YAML?

I feel like I'm missing something really obvious in Home Assistant.

Using the new "Ask a question" automation feature's GUI, it was really easy to get it to ask a question and define possible answers. I'm having trouble though figuring out how to get it to DO anything with those answers... (ie execute a conditional action)

Does anyone have any (GUI) ideas how to trigger an action based on whether the answer was yes or no?

Ideas / boosts appreciated!
