pak0stHuh, I can see a lot of praise for #Valve and @FEX_Emu and it's totally deserved.
I feel the possibility of ARM as gaming platform has been on Valve's radar all the way back to 2012/2013 with the #Tegra4 and the Nvidia Shield Portable. Do you remember #HL2 on the Shield? Very few people do 🙂 And it was glorious to see the title on ARM.

Ryan PetersBefore I dive into a search, can anyone give some guidance on this issue with running HL2 on Steam on Ubuntu 25.04? I get this issue across 2 different laptops (also Ubuntu 25.04). I get this for HL2DM as well as regular HL2.

If #MGM / #Amazon cared about #Stargate they'd use that #IP and build some [#MMO-] #RPG in said universe.
- They don't even need to redcon or otherwise tamper with it, they could just choose from many of the #characters' pre - #SG1 / #SGA - series' stories...
Indeed many folks would love to play as Teal'c, Selmak, Ba'al, Ronon, Teyla or even Vala simply because these characters didn't exist in a vacuum before they met the Stargate Teams.
- Heck even Sallis and Harrid Cicera would make for an interesting campaign with their Anti-Ori Underground...
And besides Selmak they could easily get the same people to voice their original roles, because Amazon, unlike MGM, does have the money to throw AAA+ after this.
- Plus they have all the resources "in-house" to make that work as an #MMORPG...
But even a nice #SinglePlayer Game would be nice...
- Really sad that meanwhile #StargateResistance got delisted from #Steam ages ago and the only halfway decent effort I was able to play was Stargate: The Last Stand, a #HL2 mod and some #CounterStrike maps made by "#UpdatedData"...
