And we win in a shootout! Woo! That was a fast and exciting game.

The tying goal was on a power play. The other team fouled on our captain who then 9 seconds in to the power play got a goal. Very fun to cheer on!

My friend's hockey son got in a fight at their own goal, though, and ended up with a 10+2 sit in the penalty box.

You could hear every time Curl had the puck because the entire arena boos her. Every time.

This French Canadienne announcer speaks English the same way my francophone New Brunswick coworker speaks English. It is distinct from Montreal francophones speaking English. Less nasal and more ... stretchy-bouncy in the back of the throat? I'm not good at describing it...

I think the Frost forgot how to pass in this game. The almost purely muscle memory crisp passing they've had in recent games. And then there's this game with so many intercepted, poked, or just plain not set up well.

And now it is thankfully 4-2 which is less painful than 4-1 but this is not a fun game to watch as a Frost fan.
