Wow — still riding the high from the last few days! 😍 I had the absolute privilege of photographing the Women’s Elite Road Race at the 2025 UCI Road World Championships in Kigali, and what a moment to be a part of 🇷🇼

From start to finish, the atmosphere was electric. Fans lined every turn, waving flags, cheering with every pedal stroke, urging the riders on through the climbs, the cobbles, the heat. The energy was contagious — I felt like I was part of the race. To witness history unfolding on African soil for the first time… truly humbling.

And what a race it was! The final podium looked like this:

Vallieres launched a gutsy move on the final climb of the Côte de Kimihurara, breaking away from her breakaway companions, and held on for an unforgettable win. 

Being behind the lens in those final moments — the strain, the determination, the crowd holding their breaths — was magic. I’m so honored to have been there to capture this historic championship in a setting so rich with spirit and passion.
