There’s draft legislation, but it still needs to go before the committees before it will go to the the House of Reps and the Senate to be amended and then be voted on by our elected representatives, you know like every piece of legislation.
Our constitution says we will have an army, a postal service, a parliament. It makes no mention of Prime Ministers, political parties, whether we should have post office shops, postal deliveries 3 or 5 days a week, or what our defence forces should look like. That’s the job of parliament.
It’s deceptive to ask for legislative detail when they can’t legislate on something that doesn’t yet exist. Parliament retains the power to make laws and to suggest this government can do something different is gas lighting.
@CraigPendlebury @DropBear @static that just means the white supremacist, Australia hating, Liberal and National parties go back to worshipping Captain Cook, and scrap Aboriginal programs and give all the money to their white mates who tell First Australians how they want them to think, like they usually do.
Don’t you know the English are far superior in everything compared to anything we could ever do?
Oh look, Josh Fraudenberg’s bestie. AGAIN.
“PwC’s Indigenous Consulting was founded in 2013 by PwC Australia’s then CEO Luke Sayers, who was appointed CEO in 2012.”
No wonder the Libs don’t want A voice to parliament. They have all the business consultancies stitched up with their mates.
Our First Peoples Senior Advisor Sam Gledhill caught up with From the Heart Campaign Director Dean Parkin this week at the launch of the 'Yes' campaign supporting a Voice to Parliament.
Sam also caught up with Reconciliation Australia Chief Executive Officer Karen Mundine at the launch, and Uniting NSW.ACT's Holly Thorburn.
