* 2407 were with sabre, from which 1977 in sparrings, 430 in tournaments.
* 396 were with smallsword, which were only in sparrings.
* 262 were with rapier and dagger, from which 84 in sparrings, 178 in tournaments.
* 237 were with sword and buckler, from which 124 in sparrings, 113 in tournaments.
* 166 were with rapier, which were only in sparrings.
* 43 were with spear, which also were only in sparrings.

DrachenschuppeWie jedes Jahr gab es eine spannende und schöne Dresdner Fechtschul zum Jahresende!
Mit ihr steht auch die Rangliste des Jahres.
Gesundheits- und Trainingsbedingt (zu wenig davon) war ich auch dieses Jahr leider nur hinter‘m Tisch aktiv - dafür gab es so wieder mehr Gespräche und Snacks!
Und am Ende noch einen wunderbaren Aus*klang* im #Traumtänzer ! :D

🇬🇧After a long time, I again have news from a tournament. Yesterday and today I competed in Vienna at Vindobona Bosch 2025. Yesterday with a long sword, today with sabre, and in both weapons I won a medal!
The long sword competition had a bit unusual format, as there was not one, but two rounds of pools. In both pools I have won all bouts, and was third after the pools. I then won all bouts except for one which was the second to the last one against David Piši, where I broke my sword 😢. For the bronze bout I borrowed a new sword from Vojta Popelka, for which I am very grateful, and won.
The sabre competition had a standard format, i.e. single round of pools. I have won in all bouts. Both in the pools, and in the elimination, so I have won the gold medal🥇, for which I am very happy, especially considering I do not really train with sabre. Here too my weapon got damaged, but only slightly, and it is still usable.

Some excellent bouts today in #dresden , even though the heavy sabre wasnt allowed. Lots of good, solid fencers, lots of banter, absurd amounts of sweat and, bloody hell, i scored a direct hit to a nipple. 1/7, dont recommend #hema #SabreFencing #historicalfencing

From the top: bloss, ensifer, kreiger ,viktor berbekuc with custom grip. All great sabres, for different reasons. And ensifer broke twice, within 5 years or so. A great blade. #hema #dsw #kdf #historicalfencing
