You have to admire the pugilist Harry Jones. In 1824 Jones arranged to get married and fight on the same day. After his vows he rushed off to fight Jem Aldridge at Pentonville for the sum of five pounds. An #AngloSaxon burial site containing the remains of more than 140 people interred with some of their most favoured objects, including jewellery, knives and even a personal grooming kit, has been discovered by archaeologists working on the HS2 route.
