The Hill of Crosses is one of the coolest and eeriest places I've ever visited. Another one from a trip to #Lithuania for #ThrowbackThursday.

Located smack dab in the middle of fucking nowhere rises a mountain of crosses, crucifixes, effigies, rosaries, statues, and religious art. It is a Catholic pilgrimage site now but no one is exactly sure how it began.
