DOROWatching Clint Eastwood’s High Plains Drifter for the nth time. After Leone and Peckinpah had more or less put an end to the genre in 1968/69, this monster hit the screen with the New Hollywood wind at its back. I still have to take a few deep breaths when I watch this film. It is one of my favourite works of his.
