I didn't want to post this back when the fire was raging (no need to be sensationalist), but back when the Flat Fire first began in central #Oregon on August 21, I was boondocking and saw it pretty close up. I had to adjust my plans so I would be a safe distance away across the Deschutes river valley. 😲
