Yet another unplanned hiatus! Would you believe more than a month ago, I sat in a café sipping tea and drafting blog posts? Several in fact!
It’s incredible how easily a life can get out of balance. I’m usually so wiped out by the time I return home (from work) that I can barely keep my eyes open as the 7:00 p.m. hour nears–so my excitement about posting consistently for a few weeks could not compete with my desire for sweet sleep.
For a while, I thought something was wrong with my body. It didn’t seem normal to be that depleted at the end of the workday. However, I had to accept (yet again), despite my fantasies, I am only human. Nine to ten hours of nonstop talking, meeting, problem solving, and dealing with multiple personalities–some in the same person 😀 –is physically and mentally draining.
However, I was determined to pop in this evening and let you know how much I miss my blog friends.
I miss you! I really do!

seanpm2001 🇺🇦️🇬🇱My 7 day mourning period has passed (starting 2026, April 10th at 5:00 pm PST) I still plan to make a tribute post, but I am not ready yet today. Time went by too fast when I wasn't kept up to date with the world, although I did break my no negativity rule about 40 times, and was partially aware of what is going on in Ukraine, Iran, and Lebanon, but not the other 24 conflicts. All 27 conflicts resumed full coverage on 2026, April 10th.
It took me a while to get back to Mastodon, due to how thrown off my schedule has become lately. I got caught back up on my Mastodon feed today at 4:57 pm (2026, April 14th) It took well over an hour. I may not post as often for a while, but I have plenty of boost-able posts stocked up (40 are currently stocked up, which I will spread out over several days (at least 1 week)) It may take a while for a tribute post to be created. This will be my only Mastodon post today.
